Got a Mimi/Yomi hujoo just for curiosity. It’s quite nice to paint, even if I’ve just been messing around (the big ol’ comma-shaped eyebrows were just something I wanted to try. I haven’t completely succeeded but the faceup is staying like that until all my other stuff has a face).
Wig is not definitive wig, just the only 8-9” wig I had around. Dress is from Rement. I’ve got a cute lolita dress for 1/6 dolls that fits quite nice, but she looked even more stupid in it (I had to choose between no shoes or a pair of YOSD-sized keychain sneakers I had around in the remote case there isn’t anything better — neither works with loli, I’m afraid).
And now for something mostly different
This week I received a sort of indulgent whim — I bought a dollfie plus version of the Kira SD doll, one of the mythic Four Sisters.
This dollfie plus is in tan color, and comes with the Elegant Collection body which is the crappiest thing Volks has thought of as it picks every piece of lint that comes near and is quite easy to break (so there won’t be any fancy poses until an EB body arrives — I didn’t particularly feel like paying Volks’ EMS rates for the EB body, but most dollfie stuff is being discontinued, after all, so maybe when I come to Japan they’re already out of them).
So what can you do with a tan Kira with an absurd blonde, curly wig? Turn her into a yankii, of course >:D Gods bless Azone and their silly outfits.
Today Mystery Character arrived ^__^ Unfortunately, they sent a wig that was both wrong (I wanted a shaggy wave, not a bob cut) and bad (the wig is showing some signs of male pattern baldness), he’s got next to no clothes, and I’ll have to special order his eyes. So he’s going to remain mysterious for a while…
Tiny delinquent
Kurei’s new wig from Leeke is so pinkish and has such an 80s look that when combined with her sailor fuku she looks surprisingly badass. So I had to take the 1/6 scale katana and take a couple of retro pinku eiga-style pics :3
As for the P-5 from Padico, it’s currently in customs. Hope it passes through them, tho. At least it’s a kit so it’s supposed to be a smallish box.
Recent developments
The Taobao clothes arrived and now Kurei is dressed in her black sailor fuku instead of black tracksuit and sweatshirt jacket. It seems her status as Gothy Woobie is well-cemented by now.
Today I had to order a Padico P-5 doll kit because it had suddently gotten to “no stock” status (now it shows as “backordered”), despite me wanting to wait for a month or so. Let’s see if they find a kit for me.
I’m cruel and last weekend inflicted weird-ass eyebrows on poor Kurei in a fit of exasperation just to leave her with some paint on her face.
The wig is a spare one (in fact, it’s Liang’s old Leeke one) of the wrong color (the wig will be brown-ish), the clothes is whatever fits her fat ass while I’m waiting for her sailor fuku to arrive from Taobao, and I didn’t really intend to give her a gothy makeover, but damn… she looks cute in an Eeyore/ woobie kind of way X_____D
